Feliz cinco de mayo!

I'm drinking margaritas porque hoy es el cinco de mayo!

I usually like a more traditional margarita, with lime juice and tequila (and maybe some triple sec). But since I had some frozen raspberries, I decided to have some fun and make frozen raspberry margaritas!

To make one, just blend together 1 shot of tequila, a splash of triple sec, about a half cup of frozen raspberries (other frozen fruit would probably be good too!), a splash of lime juice and a few ice cubes. I used sweetened lime juice, and the margarita came out just sweet enough for me, but if you like those really sweet ones you might want to add a spoonful of sugar syrup or some other sweetener. (Maybe agave nectar would be appropriate).

So cheers to my last day of classes (ever)! My college career ended on a high note, with my feminist theory class singing in unison to Gladys Knight and the Pips's "Midnight Train to Georgia." (Yes, really. And yes, it was relevant.)

So to all you seniors finishing up classes (or already graduating), congrats! And to the rest of you, happy Cinco de Mayo!
